Firefighter hamburger fry planned for June 22
BIG ARM — Firefighters will be manning a hamburger barbecue on June 22 at the Big Arm Fire Station.
The hamburger fry runs from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and is put on by the Polson City and Rural Fire Departments at the Big Arm Station. The public is invited to visit with local firefighters and check out all of the equipment used to keep local residents safe.
The fire engine, the fire tender and the brush truck, along with tools and equipment, will be on display for folks to sit in, learn about and enjoy. The firefighters promise to blast water out of the hoses and may even have some hose races (blasting beach balls with water), depending on the weather.
The barbecue is free, but donations to the department are always welcome.
